Birthday Burpday! Chicbacha pasta~!

Hello~!

It's been awhile since I've posted. Yesterday was my birthday. *yeeey?* Well I wasn't that looking forward to my birthdays, it's part of growing up. Although, ever since that time my mom passed away, I can say that this is one of the happiest birthdays I've encountered so far... Well, it's really nice and I had a blast.

I'm looking forward to this year, another year in my life. I may encounter a lot of stuff along the way... and somehow I feel that this year will be pretty busy... and harder for me and my honey bear but... for sure I'll just have to go through with it...

The topic for today is not about that but what I cooked yesterday. It's 2:13 AM in my clock on the 30th of December 2013. So let's start!

If you love pastas then this will be pretty easy for you to do(?) (I think).

+++++++++
Ingredients:
+++++++++
6 gloves of chopped garlic
1 white onion (chopped)
1 cup of Olive oil
1 bottle of spicy olives (sliced it up if its not sliced)
2 bottles of Pasta sauce (about 2 full measuring cups/bottles. Will update this one for the exact measurement)
1/2 kg of Chicken Fillet
1/4 kg of Bacon (chopped)
1/4kg of Ham (chopped in to thin slices) *and thus the name Chicbacha*
3 pinch of Salt
2 pinch of black pepper
2 tbsp of sugar
1 cup of 100% lemon juice.
1 1/2kg of choice pasta (I have fusillini)
=============================================================
1. Put half cup of olive oil. When it's hot and good to go, saute chopped white onions and 3/4 of chopped garlic.
2. When the garlic is quite golden brown, put the chicken fillet mix it and let it sit for awhile.
3. Prepare the ham. Chop the ham in to thin french-fries-like slices. Place it in a bowl. Mix it with 1 cup of lemon juice, 1 pinch of salt and pepper, then add 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/4 of the chopped garlic. Mix it well and let it sit.
4. Once, the chicken is almost cooked, placed in the diced bacon. This is were the fun starts, although you have to be careful as to how much ingredients you put in it. But for me, simply put the rest of your ingredients (black pepper, salt, and sugar and some of that Jamie Oliver's spices). Mix it, then have a taste. Just keep adding little by little if it doesn't meet up to your "taste".
5. As it sits, for another 5 to 10 minutes, add the marinated ham (along with the juice) in to the pan and mix it well. Let all the flavors mix in for another 5 to 10 minutes. Let the juice be absorbed by the meat.
6. Once the juice is almost gone, add the pasta sauce and mix it. Be sure to taste it again, and just add a little more of that "missing ingredient" that meets up with your taste but be sure not to make it salty.
7. Lastly add the spiced olives. Mix it together for 3 to 5 minutes, and it's all good and done. :)

cook up your noodles, mix it up and enjoy!

I hope you learned something from this cook off >.> I'm not quite sure how to put it in values but oh well.... enjoy!

Love,

~M~

Merry Christmas~!

Ahoy Mates!

I just haven't been posting for quite awhile due to certain "stuff" going on, being really quite emotionally and stuff like that, since it's December. I'm having a little bitch-fit and well, the common woes of being in a LDR and an OFW.

It's my second year spending Christmas here in Singapore which you won't feel it's Christmas unless you are in the city. There are no Christmas lights in our area but there are some lights (only red) >.> if you know what I'm saying... so LOL XD

It's my day off today and yesterday and I have been given another off this Sunday which is my birthday... -.- oh man. Lonely as it looks like... well, yeah. Just going to lie down, roll and cry. Q.Q

Just kidding! I've been a quite a Santa Claus yesterday or last night. I've been so generous that I forgot to set my limit -.- boom~! there it goes. Sooo now I think I'll just run through with my own make-up thingies and do some looks inspired by... someone XD

ENJOY YOUR CHRISTMAS WHILE YOU CAN WITH YOUR FAMILY. CAUSE YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHERE LIFE LEADS YOU TO.

EAT MORE. PARTY HARD. DRINK HARD. AND ROCK!

Happy Holidays!

Love,

~M~

M.A.C.'s Nude Matte Lipstick

Hi there~!

It's been nearing Christmas and I haven't updated yet about how I think Nude feels. (Remember that lipstick from Rihanna Collection from M.A.C.? Yes, it's that one. So if ever you are still thinking of buying it, well it won't hurt reading it further right? xD Let's get started!

I have been a fan of nude lipsticks when I was very young, (especially when I saw Utada Hikaru wear it on her Easy Breezy video, but I think it's a gloss now >.>) I always wondered how it would look on me. For the past years I've been doing all these presenting our "clan" in fiestas and stuff, I've always worn these reds. I really can't remember when I wear one nude lip. oh well, back to the review XD

As I've said before it's a little darker on me. It's not that I don't like it or what but actually it's quite good though it does dry your lips after a few hours. It did last on my lip quite long, well, I cheated a little cause I always put on a lip liner underneath my lipstick so it will really last a bit longer than it used to.
It goes well with the smokey eyes or neutral eye looks. I love how dark it is, it gives me that somewhat "evil" look... >.> or... goth-feel which I'm in to.

Is it worth the money? Yes, it does somehow stays on for quite long. It does dry your lip so remember to clear off any dead skin on your lip before applying. But, of course before you buy it, you must try it out first. If you like the dark "nude" lip then go for it.

Price: S$34 in M.A.C.

Thanks for your time~!

The NAKED 3

Hiii guys~!

Today, yesterday rather, was the release of NAKED3 here in Singapore. I know I've said before that I won't be buying NAKED3 (or rather I was torn between buying and not) but yes, I have it. I went there, queued up, got my NAKED3, went to buy some other stuff and that's it. I'm still going to use my M.A.C. Pearlfusion Shadow in Pinkluxe (from my previous post) for our Christmas parteh~! Along with my All Fired Up Retro Matte lipstick. Well let's go back to the topic.

NAKED3, M.A.C'S Cremesheen Lipstick in Shang Hai Spice,
Urban Decay's Lip Liner in NAKED, NAKED SKIN Foundation
in Shade 5.0; and the compact gift from SEPHORA (since it's
my birth month)
What happened? Everything was like all Urban Decay Products and only one M.A.C.? My love for M.A.C. never waivers. I'm still one of the M.A.C.-girl but I also love Urban Decay. Their eyeshadows are great (hands down!) so as the lip liner and eye liner. So yeah, I guess it's all UD this December. (yey?)

Now for the Main Thing. As you may have read, heard or seen before, NAKED 3 contains 12 eyeshadows. All new shades, not a single shade has been carried over from the previous 2 NAKED palettes. Yes they have a rose-gold undertones, and I for me these shades are for the "romantic" looks. I will create some and try to post it if I can. So for now this is the look I came up with. (Please excuse the unkempt brows x.x headaches)

I'm not in to pinks/rosy shades, but this is something I'm starting to like. XD

Products used:
Urban Decay NAKED SKIN in Shade 5.0
Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation
Benefit Boe-ing Concealer in Medium Shade
M.A.C. Penultimate Liquid Eyeliner
Make Up For Ever Smokey Extravagant Mascara
Urban Decay Lip pencil in NAKED
M.A.C. Cremesheen Lipstick in Shanghai Spice
M.A.C. Mineralize Blush in Love Thing
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer
Shades used for the eyes:
STRANGE
BURNOUT
NOONER
LIAR
FACTORY
BLACKHEART

Sooo, would I suggest you to buy it? Well, it's not really bad. I could say that it's better than the previous ones in terms of the choices of shades. If you have the money, why not? But if you're looking for something to start and you don't see yourself wearing these shades (or if you're not in to eyeshadows unlike me) then don't.

Is it worth the money? Yes, definitely if you see yourself wearing it. But before you buy this, be sure to try it out first so you won't be disappointed if ever you'll buy it. I think you could ask someone to give you a make-over before indulging yourself in to these shades (char~)

Anyways, it's my first impression.

Stay tuned for more~!

Love,

~M~

Mini Sephora Haul

Hello my Lovelies~

I just had to go back to SEPHORA to grab their promotional palette which is the Makeup Academy Palette since these makeup ideas pops out of nowhere (always before I go to sleep -.- pretty nice). I also had to buy my own lip brush, and the Makeup Forever kit was just additional. But then... This had to happen...

Sorry for the lighting x.x
My thoughts on the kit: First of all, I looove the lipstick. It is really quite pigmented and it goes on smoothly when you apply it. It reminds me of my Kryolan Lipstick which I bought last July when I was back home for a couple of days. I'll be trying it out when I go to work and give you guys an update as to how it last on me. The mascara is ok too. I can't say much because I just tried it out when I'm too lazy to apply make up. XD The eyeliner is ok. It is black but not as black as Perversion pencil.

FLASH!

I'm still trying to figure out what to say about this palette. It does have pretty much everything to complete a look, all you need is a foundation and viola~! you're good to go! or sort of... I tried to use this just to create a look. I don't know if it's because of the color of the light or what, but When I tried to put on some of these eye shadow, it's kinda disappointing because it's not as pigmented as the other palettes I've used. I'm still going to play with this 'enormous' palette and give you an update pretty soon, perhaps this Wednesday? maybe, maybe not. but since NAKED 3 is coming... Well... let's see then :P

That's all for now~

See you again~!

Thanks.

Love,

~M~
