A Visit from M.A.C. Cosmetics shop in Vivo City

Today I had my day off, we went for an adventure in USS (Universal Studios Singapore) with my little brothers and cousins. It was extremely enjoying and tiring day but at the end of the day.... I had to check out M.A.C. since we are in Vivo City. (I actually accidentally saw it... and I was like. I. HAVE. TO. GO.)

So yeah, I went to check it out, and I got quite surprised. Being a M.A.C. lover, I was like 'how come I didn't know what this new stuff is?!' because it's there and I want to get my chubby hands on it. 

SO I am planning to hunt over it, tomorrow. And probably get that matte red-pink (Relentlessly Red) lipstick from the Retro Matte collection aside from the new one.

Frustrations

SOOOOOooooo, I just saw Yaya Han's Vlog for Halloween and she reminded me of how I should get my artist veins in to work.

You know that feeling when you see this certain person that you just wanted to draw her or create a character modeled after her? I get that "feeling" and when I started to sketch it out, my effing hands won't allow me to draw. poofy -.-

I've been like this every now and then, just trying to get myself in shape once I tried to draw again. I still draw, but since my Bamboo pen & touch effed up, I got lazy so I had to rely on my Handy-dandy Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (which will be Note 3 at the end of November).

One of my frustrations is... I suck at copying things. No shit. I do. It's my Waterloo. I prefer basing my works on to certain stuff then from it creating a new one. If it looks shit then I'll just have to do my own thing to make it work.

Seeing other artists, (all hail Siya Oum, All HAIL SERGE BIRAULT!) my frustration for perfection has grew more steady.

Riri Woo feel~

Hullo!

Sorry for not having to update my blog, I've been pretty busy with stuff since it's almost Christmas ( a lot of people going back home to spend their Christmas with their families XD) So yeah, I did say that I will be posting about how I feel with the whole riri woo lipstick. Annd here it is!

Sadly I took only one pic (One nice pic) x.x I had this picture at the end of my quite tiring day and I used my note 2 to take this one...

Well yeah, I did not retouch my lipstick nor my foundation for this pic, but still you can see how it sticks on me. I LOVE RIRIWOO better than Russian Red. I didn't have Ruby Woo, but I think Riri Woo should be compared with Russian Red. they have cool under tones (for me) and Ruby Woo is a bit warm toned.

The other thing that I love about this lipstick is that, it is quite light on me. I tried applying it once without any lip moisturizer or conditioner or lip balm and yet it gives me good result. It does quite dry up your lips a bit when applying but after that... It's like you don't have any lipstick at all. 

I am a bit exaggerated but, well, that's how I really feel about it. It doesn't come off easily even when I eat Filipino foods (Filipino foods are quite oily >.> and they tend to remove my lipstick every time I eat) or any oily foods for that matter.

The thing I don't like is that, when I apply it, it's quite hard. It's like applying chalk on your lips. If you have this product, do you encounter the same thing? 

Anyhow, :)) I am quite happy with this. I'll be trying out Nude soon. xD Just trying to find the right eye make up for it. So stay tuned!

Catwoman inspi- oh, Gothic look

Yes, I have tried, and yes I have failed. I did my very best though... Q.Q poor me, x.x So anyways, just to be a "man" of my words, I went on with my all black stuff in my make up and put on Ririwoo :))

M.A.C.'s Riri woo and Nude

Ok so I had my off today which was a typical day off for someone who's working far away from her home (if you don't know where I live as of now, I'm here in Singapore, and I came from Philippines), I went to clean and arrange stuff in my room, do the laundry and stuff... and by the end of the day, I went out to clear my homesickness.

I do get homesickness although I do not think much about it because the more I think about it, the more it'll drive me nuts. The days are coming to that day, and on Friday, 25th of October, I promise you that I will do a Catwoman (Michelle Pfieffer version)  inspired look. 25th of October will always be a special day for me aside from my love ones b-days and our anniversary, since this is the day that taught me that life is short. Life is so short that in a blink of an eye, you'll see everything disappeared right in front of you and you can't do anything about it. All that was left for you to do is to live and continue on living and loving every person who meant the world to you. 

So what's got to do with Catwoman? (Although I looked like a bear) My mom loved Michelle Pfieffer, and the time when Batman Begins movie released was the time my mom had me. So yeah, I was named after her with a little tweak in my name. xD

Moving on. I bought two Riri lipsticks from M.A.C.'s Rihanna collection, which are Ririwoo and Nude. They are both in matte which are kinda cool cause I love matte finishes. I'll be spending more time in wearing them soon to give you guys what I think it feels like when I wear it at work tomorrow.

My first impression with the lipsticks. Let's start of with Ririwoo. Ririwoo reminds me of Russian Red a lot. It's like Russian Red with a different name. The formulas are quite close to each other and when I applied it, it's starting to dry out a little (talk about matte lipstick). I love how red it is though.

The next one is, Nude. Nude, as the name says, is a nude lipstick. (I'm not making any sense.) It's a dark nude lipstick which also gives off a matte finish but I quite agree to some, it is a bit like there's a satin finish in it. It doesn't dry out my lips but it is quite scary to apply, since when I applied it it looks like I have mud on my lips. I love how earthy the color is, but then... I still don't know how I really feel about it so far. But when I tried it out, I had to put creme d'nude on the center of my lips on top of Nude to pop it out and it worked just fine!

UD: VICE 2 Look

Greetings stranger!

As promised, I'll be doing a look for my VICE 2 Palette from Urban Decay and here you have it! I didn't get a chance to do a look yesterday since I was raiding with my love XD 

Oh well Let's get started!

Here are the things I used:

The colors used are the following: 

Step 1: Prime your eyes.

Step 2: Place Betrayal all over the lid.

Step 3: Put Smokeout on the outer corner,

about a third way in up to the crease.

Step 4: Apply Prank on the crease from the

end point where you place smokeout.

Finish the eyes by applying a little of Smokeout on the lower lash line. 

Then apply Coax on the inner corner and apply a white eyeliner

on your brow bone (I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk)

then use your favorite black eyeliner.

 curl your lashes! So basically, this is how it should look afterwards ^^

Finish the rest of the look by your normal foundation routine.

Concealer>Foundation>loose>blush>bronzer

Lastly, don't forget the lips. 

Since I am a sucker for lipstick (I personally prefer them over lip gloss),

I used M.A.C.'s Giddy

So this is the finish look!

Raiding night: LFR Moments

So Saturday is Raid Night even though I don't raid with my guild, I only raid with my Honeybear Loves <3 in LFR (Looking-For-Raid) since we are in a different guild. I had to leave my old guild which was Ethereal, because I don't see the point of staying, then I switch again and I switched again to... my current guild. So far so good? nah, still the same shit... but hopefully the guys are more "friendly" for I rarely go online on day time (which is night time on the other side of the globe). So yeah, let's see how things are going...

I got a good group in LFR for Gates of Retribution (2nd wing for Siege of Orgrimmar). Although we did not finish the whole raid (got Nazgrim on berserk which 1 shot me... -.- ). I was kinda amused, and felt like I am really part of the team without them knowing I was a girl. So anyways, yeah :)) it was fun and a fun raid indeed. :)

so the raid started around 1 and ended around 3:15am which is not really bad. 2-hour raid is good raid (for me).

Although I didn't get any good loots, (only gold and gloves which I already had) but it was a good raid... since I'm in a raiding mood and not really after the loots.

Urban Decay: VICE 2

It has been weeks since the UD: Vice 2 Palette came out in the US and it has been painful for my pretty vain side for not having it the day it has been released here in SG. I have been looking forward everyday and every night to get my small chubby artistic hands on the palette and at last! For four hundred years, I have it~! Does my quest for a look begins! (Char~!)

Ok, so I have purchased my UD: Vice 2 palette in Sephora, Plaza Singapura, today. I've been waiting for SEPHORA ION's SMS for any update on the palette since it's quite close to where I work. But luckily, the wait is ovah! XD 

I am a sucker for Urban Decay Palettes. I bought my first which is NAKED 1, which I bought due to NAKED 2 running out of stock, for my cousin's wedding. I loved how it is pretty much pigmented and the color choices are what I would really love to use, being a semi-goth/metal head/rnb/indie/koala bear but then still keeping that simple, toned-down make-up. I love everyday looks and such. 

Why UD: VICE 2? because of... yes, BLUE SHADES! I love blues. (chos~!) But seriously, if it's a bit too much I could always turn it down a little. Not too much :P

Sooo... Here is it!

People Should STOP BEING AN ASS

People should stop being an ass. Seriously. SERIOUSLY. I mean, there's this Artist who's too old for his girlfriend who apparently was a minor. I mean, seriously people, if they are in love so what? If you think it's too immoral for both of them, who are we to judge? You think it's immoral because it's uncommon, and out of the norms we used to have.

Leave them be. You're not God. Don't play like you are. If you think it's disgusting then don't bother. It's simple as that. It's like you watching a disgusting show that you like, so you just have to look away.

If you judge them that it's wrong and blah and blah... maybe you didn't know what it is like to love or maybe you think you are in love. Love conquers all boundaries. Age. Gender. Status. etc... All of them. To hell with it. You are in love and to hell with it all.

Let them be happy. They're humans after all... They didn't do anything that made them less humane than what you are doing to them. Sometimes we just need to think and be open about things we can't do anything about since it's not affecting us anyways.

At times we should think of how it will affect you as a person in judging another person by what they are doing before taking an action to counter act it.


Just quite frustrated. Wew XD

NYX: TMI tutorial 1

I tried it out after the last post to see how it is. Well I do kind of like the texture I get on having to try it on. As promise I'll post a tutorial on one of the looks and here you have it. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. 

Please excuse my brows, I'm too lazy to have them fix... so just went bam! xD

Here is me before and after.

Let's get started:

1. Prime your eyes. You can use any primer for this one. if you don't have one, be sure to have your brushes a bit wet so that it will be on a little longer. Primer, as everybody says, is for your make up to last longer.

2.Apply the NYX Jumbo pencil in Cashmere at the center of your eyelid and in the inner corners of your eyes. Smudge it on to your lid with your finger to soften it up

3. Apply the beige shade eyeshadow in the Smokey palette on the entire lid in a dabbing motion. 

4. Apply the blue shade eyeshadow in the palette 1/3 from the outer corner of the lid and in to the crease. be sure to have the center to inner corner of the eyelids not blended with the dark eyeshadow. 

5. Just blend it a bit, extending it outwards. Blend the blue eyeshadow on the crease. 

6. For a little more drama, *kuno*, add a little bit of black eyeshadow on the crease and on the outer corners of your eyes. Blend it well to avoid any harsh edges, smoking it out. 

7. Apply the blue shade on your lower lash line halfway from the outer to inner corner then use the same beige shade and apply it on the other half of your lash line.

7. Apply Cashmere Jumbo Pencil just below the arc of your brows. 

8. Apply your favorite eyeliner. I used the eyeliner included in the package.

9. Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara.

Finishing touches

1. Apply concealer to your dark circles and blemishes.

2. Use your favorite foundation and be sure to set your concealer.

3. Apply blush on your cheekbone. Since the blush provided by NYX is quite too strong for me I had to add a little more powder foundation to balance it out as well as blending it more.

4. Apply your favorite nude lipstick/lip color/or just lip gloss. I used the matte lip cream in Istanbul which is provided in the package.

And there you have it! It's quite easy, all you need to do now is to try it out.

NYX: The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

I've been going back and forth from Sephora and I always see these NYX boxes. I was kinda frustrated since I was looking forward to buy Vice 2 Palette from Urban Decay, but due to me having emotionally stressed out from everything (mom's death anniversary and I was not allowed to go home and other stuff which will not be mentioned :P ) I got it.

So this is what it looked like.

First things first

Greetings stranger!

Welcome to my blog! It has been months since I have been meaning to post something online and I've been quite inspired by how many people have resulted to blogging to get some things straight, or just to release their tensions inside their brains. Talk about loosing up some neurons!

Enough with the bio-talk (once is enough), I have been pushed by my pretty colleagues, (thanks to you guys) to do this and here you have it. I must blog it now or else I'll get too lazy to post anything (my brewmaster veins are aching for some raiding soon).

So yeah, you'll find a couple of stuff here in this blog, news from the nether, makeup tutorials, artworks, books, TV talks (though I don't watch TV), and some random things I am quite interested in.
